The SD Enhanced electronics family for stepper motors is a series of Full Digital high-performance drives, with advanced functionalities to control the motor also in closed loop of torque, velocity and position, controlling it as a servomotor. The series is divided in the following drive types:
SDL: devices controllable by means of digital inputs and Step & Direction signals
SDM: drives controllable through CANBus fieldbus (firmware c0300) Canopen protocol or by means of serial interfaces (firmware x0400) with Modbus-RTU protocol, or already prepacked drives that run special applications (firmware c03xx and c04xx) also in ‘standalone’ mode, of which the parameters can be set by means of PC Windows software interfaces, or full programmable drives (firmware c0499) which can be programmed by the user by means of the ATOMIC development environment.
The models of the SD Enhanced series are divided in the following categories:
• Step & Direction (SDL) • Fieldbus (SDM with c03xx and c04xx firmware) • Programmables (SDM with c0499 firmware)
